Parenting & Child Behaviour Guide

A practical, age-wise guide to help parents understand behaviour, set healthy boundaries, manage screens and money, build relationships, and talk about puberty, safety and sexuality.

Language /

Your child is not giving you a hard time. Sometimes your child is having a hard time.

Behaviour is communication. A child's age, temperament, language, sleep, hunger, environment, relationships and emotional skills all influence behaviour.

The core parenting rule: सबसे जरूरी parenting rule:
Understand the reason → set the boundary → teach the alternative → reinforce the good behaviour.

The goal is not a child who never cries, argues or makes mistakes. The goal is a child who gradually learns self-control, empathy, responsibility, confidence and safe decision-making.

👶 0–3 Months / 0–3 महीने

Main goal: Safety, bonding and responsive care

😭 Crying / रोना

Ask what the crying may be communicating: hunger, tiredness, discomfort, overstimulation, need for comfort or illness.

Parent thought /
“My baby is communicating; I will first look for the need.”
Seek medical help /
Fever in a young infant, breathing difficulty, poor feeding, marked lethargy, seizures, repeated vomiting, injury or other concerning symptoms.
